R.A.H.A.B.™ Ministries Podcast

Journey with me on how God took me from Rahab (used in Psalm 87:4 as a poetic alternative for Egypt) to R.A.H.A.B.™ - Restored And Healed Adorned Beauty (Promised Land). Everyone’s journey might look different, but there are some Biblical principles that enforce His transforming power at work in us. For me, Rahab represented sub-conscious and unhealed trauma birthed from a dysfunctional blueprint. Sitting with God, after a rough divine shaking, resulted in a revelation that there was a hindering pattern at work in my life. I was not aware of how it was affecting me and my choices prior to diligently seeking God for answers, even though I was “saved”. As Christians we must evaluate our status as Christ-followers (Seek-Hear-Obey) and invite God into places in need of deep healing only He can provide. He is so faithful to drop the scales from our eyes and do exceedingly and abundantly above what we could ask or think (His healing me even blessed future generations :) so we can bear much fruit for His glory, in His Kingdom.

He (Jesus) is the Repairer of the Breach (Isaiah 58:12)!

R.A.H.A.B.™ stands for Restored And Healed Adorned Beauties.

How R.A.H.A.B Ministries got started:

God gave me the acronym R.A.H.A.B. 20 years ago while I was in college and I book marked it in my Bible at that time. I wrote it down on a yellow post-it note tucked away in Isaiah 62. At 39 years old, after going through my second divorce and while receiving healing ministry, the minister provided a prophetic word from Isaiah 62 (no coincidence ;). Even more, no coincidence, a few weeks prior to healing ministry, I was unable to find my regular Bible and after going through my closet searching, I “stumbled” upon my Bible from college. I still carried it with me after all of these years. After I opened it, still tucked away was the post-it with this ministry acronym on it. Talk about God’s love and redemption. Even though many would have seen this part of my life as a failure, God saw me differently. And He reminded in the most love-filled ways over and over again…my story was not done yet. God can take our darkest times and bring forth the new for His glory and for our good!

That is who He is!

God has restored this ministry dream now with so much more depth and meaning for me and as He wills, for you too :). Restoration and healing has unfolded in my life, at the hands of the Creator, in such a beautiful way! He has truly given me beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3). My hope is that what He has poured into me can now be poured out for you! Here you will find my journey from Egypt (by way of mindsets, behaviors, and iniquities) to the Promised land (restoration, renewed mind, healing, and fruitfulness for the Kingdom).

These lessons highlight and expand on steps God walked me through that He told me to write down and share. He wants us to have deep healing as His people! and that includes getting the Egypt out of us that has been passed down through generations producing iniquities (twisted bents/thoughts) in the bloodline. Many of us have idols we don’t even know about as Christians (I did!) and need to be cleansed from through repentance because we are committing adultery against God (one of the enemy’s main weapons is deception and many are deceived thinking idols are not present in their lives). As the body of Christ, we are not to be one with a harlot because we are one in Spirit with Him (1 Corinthians 6: 15-17)! Furthermore, in 1 Corinthians 10: 14-22 we are told to flee idolatry! The wonderful joy and hope we can take hold of to release us from ungodly covenants is found only in what Jesus did on the cross. But we have to repent and acknowledge our sin before God.

I hope and pray you will find refreshing clarity, hope, edification, and assurance of Jesus’ commitment, by way of covenant, to your wholeness in every way.

Be blessed His beauties!
